Sure I'll have Thursday Trend stories for many of these trends I'm about to present, but there are a few pieces you shouldn't live without going into fall so that your wardrobe stays up to date and on-trend.
Many collections had dresses with conservative silhouettes but made the dress in leather to spice things up... Michael Kors, Yves Saint Laurent, and Milly, for starters.
This dress (left) from Piperlime is a vegan leather, going for only $119. I'd wear it plain with boots, or when it gets chillier, pair it with a black long sleeve tee underneath and/or a fur vest. Need suggestions: Get this long sleeve tee from the Gap for only $15, and this cropped faux Fur vest from Zappos for only $69
Proenza Schouler was a leading designer for the oriental trend this fall using embroider silks with bird and flower motifs. This dress with cherry blossoms from ASOS is only $77 and perfect to fill this trend for fall.
Jacquard, Embroidery, Beading, and Embellishment was a huge trend on the Fall runways this season from designers like Oscar de la Renta, Balmain, and Antik Batik. Be 'The Maximalist', no straight lines or minimalistic silhouettes here! Get this dress from Topshop, $118. You could even put a beaded or embroider skirt over it and be REALLY over the top! Love.
